I know it’s a little late but remember that invitation I got for The Global Party?

With 80 parties around the world all happening within 24 hours, The Global Party is definitely “THE” party to remember. Held at the Opus Hotel in the heart of Yaletown, the event was a great success attended by many influential people in the city.

Although I stayed away from any alcoholic beverages, I could not say no to the canapés and amazing desserts. The macaroons are definitely one of the highlights of the night I’m not going to lie. I do not remember macaroons tasting THAT good before.

Another highlight of the evening was the brief tour of the 7th floor where the units are decorated and themed catering to a certain fictional character. (eg. Didi, successful pop star from LA etc.)

All of the money raised for the event goes to the charity ARK (Absolute Return for Kids). You know when a good cause and a great event happens, you can make sure I’m in.
