Back in November of last year, I received a lovely email and invite from the creative director of FashionSponge. I was also invited to take part in their pre-website-launch contest called “THE WORLD’S MOST STYLISH,” promoting diversity in fashion all around the world.

The contest only allows you to submit one entry, which is a collage of 3 different photos showcasing your styling ability. Submitted entries will be judged by the following criteria: photography, wardrobe, appearance, originality and consistency.

Since my style is very versatile and playful, I must say it was very tough going through my archive of looks to select three looks that, not only will encompass my own personal style, but also showcase my styling ability.

Having said that, I narrowed my selections down to three looks — featuring minimal color story, interesting textures and drapes, strong silhouettes and (pardon me for saying) fierce posing — complete with flying harem pants and wind-blown draped beach cover-up.

There are many great entries so I’m crossing my fingers and hoping my entry gets picked.
