H&M @ Metrotown – Grand Opening

- Events, shopping

After much anticipation, the giant Swedish fashion brand, H&M, has finally opened it’s door last night in one of Canada’s largest malls, Metrotown. All the attendees were given an exclusive 20% discount on all the merchandise.

It was a fantastic night full of beautiful people, amazing individual styles and just great familiar faces. Fabulous waiter and waitresses were walking around non-stop serving all sorts of delightful booze and bites. I was pushed into having a glass of Martini by a singing waiter, I thought he was quite adorable and entertaining, not to mention, very handsome.

The newly opened H&M is spacious and very uniform to the other locations I’ve been in. The whole upper level is solely dedicated to womenswear whereas the lower level is for menswear and kids, which also includes a small section for maternity wear.

Overall, it was a great night to remember. The turn out was fantastic and it’s always a pleasure to be part of Vancouver’s growing fashion scene.

Below are some of the photos I took during the event, please feel free to check them out.

My Russian doll, Anastasia working it on cam with yours truly. What’s with the poses, we’re not too sure — go figure. I was thinking America’s Next Top Model-esque, impromptu photo shoot right after Tyra announces the winner, clearly it did not translate. HA!~

I also got myself few things just to freshen up my wardrobe a little bit. Nothing too extravagant but as to what they are, you will find out on my next blog post. For now, I will keep you guessing.
