Dimitri A/W12 is feminine, luxurious, elegant and full of sophistication. The collection has everything a woman could ask for.

The fabric selection, down to the texture is chic and glamorous. Leather, fur and wool are well contrasted with sheer fabric and heavy drapes. I find the collection very romantic with a slight hint of lust and seduction. Plum and raspberry are prominent while ivory and saturated lavender served as supporting color palettes.

The collection also presented playful silhouettes. Skin-tight bottoms while having a full volumized and flow-y upper body, either achieved from accessorizing or a great use of (textured) fabric; this specific contrast in styling can be seen repeatedly throughout the whole collection — and who can ignore those accordion pleats? I thought it was brilliant and you will definitely see me twirling around in that last number. Bravo Dimitri! needless to say, I was floored.
