While New York Fashion Week is full on blast, it’s been rather calm and serene in Vancouver. The rain has come back (after days of freezing sunshine). I don’t think I’ve been happier to see the rain pour again. And although I will say I’m a little sad to be missing another season of NYFW, I’m feeling very satisfied to be home, warm and cozy in our humble apartment.

And that brings me to this little look tribute to the hectic and chaotic streetstyle drama of New York Fashion Week — Can I take your picture?

I did a little shopping-visit at Forever21 last week and picked up these lovely pieces. Faux leather biker jacket and a graphic/print sweater. Biker jackets remain my ultimate outerwear favourite. It’s classic yet trendy and will always be a great addition to anyone’s wardrobe.

I also couldn’t resist to slipped into the platform trend when I found these patent leather laced-up in white platform-sole. They also come in gold — it was a tough decision but I ended up going home with the black one.
