Swedish fashion house ACNE came up with a very strong collection for SS11;  loose, light and prima-cotton fabrics were used to showcase comfort and the finest level of luxury.

The loose theme continued from the oversized coat, the lumpy hats down to the flared out trousers.  Big and structural sunglasses are also making its come back on the menswear scene.  Socks + Sandals (which were primary introduced by Ricardo Tisci of Givenchy) has its new take with metallic straps and slightly thinner soles.  Double breasted blazers and sheer layering is also a big part of this collection, but who can miss the re-introduction of ultra-tiny cuffed shorts (which Prada showed last year) that is technically suppose to sit almost at the same level as your crotch.  Can I just say too that their footwear this season is undeniably fabulous and to die for?

So these are the looks I would potentially be seen wearing when summer kicks in.  How do you feel about that ginger-powder-colored top with a very low neckline with it’s matching trousers and high top/ankle boots? AMAZING! and it makes me a little upset that we don’t carry it in Vancouver.
