Victoria’s Secret Vancouver flagship store (and the company’s second largest store in the world) opens tomorrow, August 27th, on the corner of Robson St. and Burrard featuring two stories and over 35,000 square feet of lingerie, swim, sport and lounge, as well as VS PINK and Victoria’s Secret Beauty’s award-winning fragrance, and body care collections.

I have been invited to a pre-launch friends and family event on Sunday where I had my first look at Vancouver’s most anticipated store launch of the summer. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect but if I had one word to describe the store, it would be glamour, lots of it. Mirrored ultra-grand stairway, over-sized chandeliers, marble flooring and big bold lingerie-inspired detailing on the wall. I personally love the big screen wall, playing the latest Victoria’s Secret fashion show on a loop.

The grand level is where you’ll find all the Victoria’s Secret Lingerie lines, divided in sections based on the category Romantic, Provocative, Always Sexy, Body by Victoria, Designers, and Cottons. There’s also a separate section of fragrances right by the grand entrance. The lower level houses the PINK lines, Athletic, Swimwear, as well as Beauty and Cosmetics.

PS: And to help launch the store, Victoria’s Secret “Angel” Lindsay Ellingson will be at the store for a meet and greet on Thursday, August 29th from 5pm-7pm. I’m crossing my fingers she’ll show up in one of Victoria’s Secret’s signature “Angel wings” so I can snatch it off of her (of course I’m kidding, or not).
