Amongst other exciting things that happened last week is the most awaited and highly anticipated launch of the New York based luxury denim line, Cotte D’Armes.
Personally, when I think of denim, I usually think classic comfort, basic piece and easy to wear — and it stops there. However, Cotte D’Armes gave denim a spectrum of new meaning. Thanks to the ingenuity of the man behind this growing denim line, Clarence Ruth and his very charming business partner, Ann Nguyen.
Following a very successful presentation during New York Fashion Week last season, Clarence and Ann finally made the decision to bring Cotte D’Armes to Vancouver upon realizing there is a void to be filled when it comes to unique and quality denim in Vancouver.
Currently on it’s fourth season, Cotte D’Armes continues to gather attentions and interests for its contemporary and unique take on denim wear. Taking influences from Military and Uniforms, Clarence continues to develop the line while staying true to brand’s core values: maintaining the highest quality of product to offer to his fashion-savvy consumers.
Located on #434 Columbia Street (The Chinatown Experiment), Vancouverites embraced the brand, crowding its pop-up shop on the opening night. If you missed the opening, you still have time! Their pop-up ends tomorrow evening, so I strongly suggest you come down and see the line for yourself. I can guarantee, you will not be disappointed.
