CONVERSE showcased their Spring/Summer 2012 collection on March 29th at the beautiful Warehouse Studio. As one of the best recording studios in Vancouver, the venue was a wonderful choice. The wide open space, high ceiling, antique recording tools and equipments made the space look more like a gallery or a music museum.
I had an amazing time checking out their wide array of shoes, ranging from the classic ones to their premium collaboration pieces and oh boy, was I very impressed. I’ve had Converse shoes since I started getting more interested in fashion but I was completely oblivious to their stream of footwear lines.
The preview included their collaboration pieces with John Varvatos, Jack Purcell, Chuck Taylor and Marimekko. Fun and lively color palettes and patterns were also introduced together with different shapes and silhouettes both for men and women, even for kids. Below are few of the ones that caught my eyes.
