Denim-and-denim hit the runway big for spring/summer of 2011, and it has stayed on trend this year — with very slight variation of course (dip dyed/ombre bleached).
This morning I found myself slipping into these super comfortable jogg-jeans from DIESEL, pairing it up with my denim shirt from LUCKYBRAND, and before I get swallowed in a pool of denim, I decided to throw in this linen blazer, topping it off with a silk pocket square to add interest to the look. The sunglasses is a gift from GARAGE magazine.
I enjoy the laid back feel of this outfit and I also love the fact that DIESEL made this jeans with drawstring waist. The inseam is obviously too long for my short legs — but cuffing (or double cuffing) it does the trick.
I’m also wearing this Bold and Chain necklace from OAK + FORT. I couldn’t help but think of this look as something I’d wear if I were tasked to fix a broken elevator, or to change auto body parts — very blue collar chic (and still very gay). Could you imagine? Me, screw drivers, tires and grease. HAHA!
I like your round glasses 🙂
