Working with loud, busy patterns and textures always excites me. Those pieces not the average-Joe will pick up because he will then spend hours and hours figuring out how to wear it. I like experimenting and challenging myself. It’s one of the most harmless way to learn.

Take this paisley shirt for instance (yes! I’m a sucker for paisley). One may find this slightly ‘too busy,’ but when paired up with a tweed-blazer, it’s just any other patterned shirt. Since the color story is still quite neutral and light, it never hurts to add a dash of color — which adds depth onto the look. Yes I’m combining patterns x patterns but they do contrast well enough to create an interesting ensemble.
