Here are my favorite looks from ACNE S/S2013 collection recently showcased during New York Fashion Week.

First, can I just say that I’m a big sucker for oxford shoes — let alone a silver metallic shoes, absolutely amazing. These pair highlighted in the show is perfect and I’m on the hunt for one this season, in size 38EU (5 US).

Moving on, OMG! big floppy hats for men — ACNE gives me a reason to strut around the street/beach next summer in oversize sun hats, so huge that it might even cover my entire face, but as it should be, I won’t complain as long as I look pretty.

As much as I can’t pull off loose and billowy pants/shorts, I think I’m ready to give it a go next spring as long as it’s paired with tank in overly plungy neckline — ACNE made it look effortlessly chic. And who can say no to a good coat in an oversize silhouette? Certainly not me. I also have a longing for that light summer parka cinched on the waist.

I must admit that I’m not too crazy about the double-stripe looks. It did add a certain dynamic to the show but perhaps I personally was just not a fan of the styling — although I do understand that these are mainly ‘runway’ looks and does not necessarily imply that you should wear the complete outfit from head-to-toe.
